Pantea’s BIO

Hey, I’m Pantea — born in Tehran, now calling Montreal home, and someone who’s taken the “non-linear” career path. I’ve dipped my toes in hardware engineering (yep, I know logics), e-commerce and marketing (I would say different), Pilates (where I learned how to sit, walk, and do daily things more efficiently), and fashion design (which made sense — until I realized I was contributing to the planet’s wardrobe crisis). Although still in love with fashion.

Eventually, photography found me — and it feels like the perfect marriage of all my experiences. It brings together my love for creativity, my technical side, and my passion for capturing real human moments. It lets me do what I love without adding to the world’s waste. And love for fashion came in handy. Most of my fashion mood boards are coming into life faster

n 2015, I graduated in fashion design from LaSalle College in Montreal and somehow managed to be one of Canada’s top designers in the Telio Lux contest. Great experience, but I wanted to create in a way that was more meaningful.

In 2023, I ran a street photography workshop with CDAH, where I got to geek out with others who love capturing the spontaneous magic of the streets.

In 2024, I received the DémART Grant from the Conseil des arts de Montréal to curate Identity Through Photography — a photo exhibition I created for people who had no platform to share their stories. The project celebrated immigrant women and LGBTQ+ communities in Montreal, and it gained attention from artists, media, and even CBC TV. But the real win was how the exhibition gave a voice to those who deserved to be seen.

Graduating Commercial photography from Dawson college in 2025.

Now, I’m focusing on fashion, editorial, and human-centered photography with a dreamy (and real) twist. I’m all about capturing the stuff that makes us human and making sure you feel something real and unfinished when you look at it. If you want someone to create images that aren’t just pretty but also tell a story — let’s chat.
